AYSO Coach Training courses are held in Carpinteria and scheduled on the website calendar. Additional live courses are available in nearby communities. Notification of upcoming AYSO Coach Training courses are included in the Carpinteria AYSO Volunteer Newsletter, Off The Pitch.

All Carpinteria AYSO Teams are coached by parents and neighbors that have completed AYSO Coach Training.

AYSO U6, U8, and U10 Coach Courses are the complete "How-to" for coaching young children and provide adults unique entry to contributing as Team Coaches and Assistant Coaches.

The AYSO U12 Coach Course addresses the transition from young children to teenage soccer players. AYSO Intermediate and Advanced Coach Course are also available.
