Carpinteria AYSO Player Programs are developed to deliver quality youth soccer programs which promote a fun, fair, and family environment and is the soccer program of choice for the community. Carpinteria AYSO is committed to providing world class youth soccer programs that enrich children’s lives.
 
Carpinteria AYSO Player Programs are designed to be age appropriate for the physical, mental, and social characteristics of the child to provide an environment where players can discover and choose to increase their capacity to understand and enjoy the game of soccer.The objective of our player programs is to maximize player enjoyment as the foundation for development through training and match competition.

We value the benefits of team competition for every player. Our standards and expectations are that all players must be free to discover and choose their own level of interest, understanding, and accomplishment during competition. Coaches, referees, administrators, and parents are required to work together cooperatively to achieve this objective.

This cooperation requires consistent effort be taken to understand and apply the distinction between the enjoyment of adults as fans and spectators who are consumers of professional sports entertainment and the enjoyment of adults in supporting, encouraging, and directing children as they learn and apply the value of their own participation in soccer training and match competition.

Carpinteria AYSO Player Programs are open to all children ages 3-18. Players are registered annually for our membership year, MY2024, which starts on August 1, 2024 and ends on July 31, 2025.
